Hi, I'm Sarah Weston.

My aim as a soft tissue practitioner is to resolve muscular aches and pains, help to prevent and rehabilitate injuries as well as speeding up recovery from overuse. I provide treatment to individuals with a variety of issues including; regular recovery sessions between training, muscular aches and pains from every day life, rehabilitation from injury, recovery from surgery, pain management for chronic conditions.

My practice is a manual therapy based including a blend of techniques from soft tissue release, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques (METs) and Kinesiology Taping. Every treatment is tailored according to your specific needs and will discussed with you as part of your initial consultation.

Why Sports therapy and massage?

Sports Therapy and Massage involves the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. Soft tissue is connective tissue that includes skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (a form of connective tissue that lines and ensheathes the other soft tissues). This form of treatment  is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma

It will relieve and reduce the tension and restrictions that can build up within the body’s muscles and soft tissue. This form of manual therapy, with information and advice on movement and exercise, facilitates recovery and empowers you with the knowledge to stay as pain and injury free as much as possible in the future. The use of Kinesiology Taping will improve circulation, support muscles and prevent further muscle injury whilst still allowing motion.

Testimonials

I have been receiving trigger point sports massage therapy with a focus on trigger point treatment from Sarah over several years. This has included both preventative and restorative treatment. I can’t recommend Sarah highly enough. The treatment was powerful and is Sarah is a hands on for the full hour. She has successfully treated me for a range of issues from tennis elbow to bad back issues! The cost of treatment is very reasonable, why not try it!

Jacqui

I have been to see Sarah for a wide range of aches, pains and muscular complaints caused by many years of playing tennis. On every occasion she methodically and kindly sought out the solution for and with me. Sarah works so well with me and I always leave feeling healthier for having seen her.

Alex

Due to my job, I have a lot of build-up of pain across my shoulders and upper back from over tight muscles. Seeing Sarah every 2-3 months frees and loosens me up and gets rid of pain.
